Numb3rs Lessons

We all use math every day; to predict weather, to tell time, to handle money.  Math is more than formulas or equations; it's logic, it's rationality, it's using your mind to solve the biggest mysteries we know.  The TV show Numb3rs begins each week with this quote.  There are pre-developed lessons and materials on the mathematics behind each of the episodes of the series.  Featured below are links to use these in your classroom.

There is an article published by NCTM where Texas Instruments leads a math education initiative based on the TV show Numb3rs.  The program includes TI and NCTM developed math education activities that student-based on the TV show and the math presented in each episode.
