One great blog is flying colours maths. He posts great lives of the mathematical ninja. There are different mathematicians he has posted about such as Blaise Pascal, Mandelbrot, and Bourbaki. The posts include great history pieces that any teacher can include in their math education. Having students read these as a part of class is a great way to introduce reading in the math class.

Another great blog that I can't stop reading is Mr. Pai's Ninja Board, it was envisioned for building positive class culture and fun in to the class. I have been thinking of incorporating different characters in to one of my classrooms, but this looks exactly what I want for my classroom. One of the better posts was the Board for Ninjas. It starts with how he set up the classroom and goes on to build anticipation, making his students Math Ninjas.
